Province of Pampanga
About
Northwest of Manila is the Philippine province of Pampanga. San Fernando serves as its capital. To the streams of Miyamit Falls, in the southwest, there is a mountain trail. A turquoise lake fills the volcanic crater of Mt. Pinatubo more to the west. The Museo ning Angeles in Angeles preserves local history. Pampanga is renowned for having a sophisticated food scene. People from Kapampangan are renowned for their culinary innovations.
The province has a land area of 2,001.22 square kilometers, or 772.68 square miles. According to the 2020 Census, it has a population of 2,437,709. This amounted to 19.62% of the total population of Central Luzon, 3.92% of the total population of the Luzon island chain, or 2.24% of the entire Filipino population. Based on this information, the population density has been determined to be 1,218 inhabitants per square kilometer, or 3,155 inhabitants per square mile.
